COVID 19 is a respiratory disease because it affects the respiratory system of human body.

 The disease has been spread all over the world.Covid 19 disease comes into existence in the year 2019. The disease mostly cause respiratory tract infection in body.It is a zoonotic disease

Cause of COVID 19


The disease is caused by the newly discovered virus named as "Corona virus".Corona virus is one of the largest virus among all RNA viruses.
Genetic material of corona virus is Ribonucleic acid.

Symptoms

Common symptoms 
  • Fever
  • Tiredness
  • Dry cough

Some people may experience these symptoms
  • Runny nose
  • Nasal congestion
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhoea
  • Aches and pain



If someone is infected with the Corona virus,then it will take about 5–6 days to show the symptoms.
However it can take up to 14 day to show symptoms

Transmission of corona virus

Direct transmission


1. The virus can be transfer through respiratory droplets via sneezing or coughing  whena person comes in close contact (less than 1m) with an infected person.

 2. It can also be transmit by using the object which is previously used by any infected person 

3. By sharing food and drinks with infected person.

4. It has been reported that virus transmits from animal to mamal and vice versa
Indirect transmission

  1. The virus can be transmit through fomites presents around the infected person

Treatment.
                             

There is no treatment for COVID 19 disease yet.

However symptomatic treatment is given by  doctor which also give positive results 

The hydrochloroquine is very useful in severe condition of patient.But it also shows some side effects like as, eye sight weakness etc

Preventons

  • Always make 1–2 meter gap from others.
  • Cover your mouth with mask every time.
  • Don't go in the crowd.      
  • Don't touch unnecessary things .
  • Qurantine yourself if you have any symptoms like coughing or sneezing for about 14 days.
  • Wash your hand repeatedly with proper alcohol containing sanitizer or with soap.
  • Follow the instructions given by government.

Manipur has became Corona free Recently it has been reported that Manipur is now free from Corona virus . Manipur become the second state of India which is Corona free. First Corona free state of India is Goa . In these two states ,no any Corona patient has found . The chief minister of Manipur  Nongthombam Biren Singh gives the news to the media . Manipur CM N.biren Singh tweeted Sunday that "I am glad to share that Manipur is now Corona free. Both patients have fully recovered and have tested negative.
