In simple word "Zoonotic disease are those disease which either transmit from animal to human or from human to animal"
Such type of diseases are called ZOONOTIC DISEASE.
                                               

Animals play an important role in our life from ancient time.From Hundreds of years ago, peoples rear many type of animal for their commercial benefits. People also take pets like cat,dog,birds,etc for their fun .

However animal also contain some pathogen.  These pathogen are sometime transmit to the human and cause illness. 
such transmission is called zoonosis.

Zoonotic disease is found in whole world .

Approximately 30 cases out of 100 are of Zoonotic disease

Zoonotic diseases are commonly cause by bacteria parasites,viruse, or may be fungi.

How pathogen transmit between animal and human?

Today, most of the  family rear at least a pet.So it is important for us to be aware about the transmission of Zoonotic disease

The disease can transmit through many way 

• Direct transmission

Whenever we come in contact of saliva, blood, urine,faces,mucusmembrane,other body fluids of an infected animal.

Example -- The Saliva of dogs contain rabies virus which may be transfer to human by licking or animal bites

                       

• Indirect transmission.  The virus can be transfer.When a person contact with the obejects which is  already contaminated by an infected animal.

• Vector :- The pathogen can also be transmit when human is bitten by tick,insect,or flea.

                                         

•  Waterborne :-On drinking water,which is primarily contaminated with the infected animals

How to prevent yourself from Zoonotic disease?

★You need to be very aware when you come in contact with an animal.
★Wash your hand,after or before come in contact of animal.
★Use sanitizer to sanitize your hand.
★Don't touch infected animal with proper equipment
